Slow Cooker Garlic Pork Roast is a spin off of a classic dish made by many chefs throughout the world. There are variations on this dish but the constant is that it takes time but is very easy and the end product is like nothing else. Also we love how the end result is something that is falling apart, perfectly seasoned, moist, and wonderfully garlicky.
What is different about this roast?
Slow cooker garlic pork roast is mimicking what chefs take long spent hours creating in slow cooking ovens, often times from whole animals or primal cuts. It is also different than beef roasts or even pork loin roasts in that it finishes intact but shreds apart with almost no effort other than the weight of the fork. Sound outrageously good? Well it is. And if that isn’t enough, the garlic roasts as if making roasted garlic from the clove and imparts an amazing rich flavor. We also love how It creates it’s own broth that can be used for other things such as soup.
With all this effort what can it be used for?
That’s the funny part, it only takes about 5 minutes to prep, so it is very little work if you have time to wait on the slow cooker. If you plan in advance start it in the morning and for dinner you have a ready made meal. The meat from slow cooker garlic roasted pork can be eaten on it’s own or used from a thousand different other dishes:
